Three-and-a-half years after their debut EP Parcham Buland Ast, Germany-based multi-national act ZANJEER زنجیر deliver their debut LP Seher-e-Maqhoor. Translated as Dawn of the Oppressed, the band delivers ten tracks in just under sixteen minutes. Hardcore punk sung in languages you probably don’t understand (no shame here, I don’t either).

Lest you think the band is just anti-colonialism, do note the they’re pretty much anti-oppression, which can come in all forms both domestic an abroad.
