Derrida from Finland plays modern hardcore. It is an interesting mixture of several styles and combines the aggressiveness of hardcore with some metal influnces, being all the time innovative and creative. Some parts are raging, some more melodic and some almost sludge. The vocals which are sung in finnish (translations included) introduce us a very talented singer who can handle different styles without sounding artificial. It is hard to compare Derrida to any other band, and in this case it is a only good thing!
